Due to the time of the project is only two days to finish it, it is very important to make it fast to produce and easy to make, based on the concept and calculating the use of time, the final idea was chosen to make a set that is a scene with peeing, but replacing the urine with two kinds of pills mixed together. The reason of doing this is based on the Chinese literal meanings '糖尿病‘, as if its looked as single characters, it means super, urine, and disease, as also there is something to do with urine in diabetes, and I would like to make it simple but with a strong visual impact.

The everyday object I brought for the 'On Set' task is medicine pills, due to personally I have the habit of taking daily health care products. based on the idea of Pill, I've generated a few ideas, and the one that I have the most idea of is the 'Diabetes'/ The reason of it is due to again I want to make it relative to me, making it personal. Diabetes is something that I assume runs through in our family, my mother has it, my uncle has it and my older brother is likely to have it as well. Based on this situation, my main focus is on my mother, the starting point is from the pills she takes everyday.

To decide which kind of medicine should be put in to the set, I asked my mother to provide the medicines she took each day, however, I cannot find it in a short time, so what I did is to find the pills that has the similar shape, and make one of the kind into red, which there is two kinds of pills that she took daily, one with oval shape and red colour, and another one is round, white and small pill. In order to make it red, the quickest way is to spray it red.

Simply using the clay to play around, and make it to the shape, is what I found the easiest to do with in this such a limited period of time. After that all I have to do is colour it in and start to stick the pills one by one together to make the pill's urine. The size of it I've tried to make ut slightly bigger, so it is more obvious on the set. (slightly bigger than my palm)

After colouring, I've stabled it with super glue and 4 screws, to to make sure it is okay to hold the pills and won't fall down during the laminating of the pills.

One thing that I would like to improve after I started is I should add a wire in the middle of the pills, so the situation of the pills falling down twice in a certain sport would then not happened, which has bring me extra jobs and more time used.

Based on what I did for the first test 'On-Set' project, I've further developed it as I want to make a certain connection between the two projects. Looking at the first project, what reminds me of is the disease and female organs, during the process of making and presenting it is interesting to see people's response towards the piece. It could be controversial, in what we think of liberal Europe, the city we live in there was full of male sexual objects being drawn and having made out. But suddenly when the feminine object being presented, most people got offensive about it, I think that I something that is not right. Still, in many Asian countries, feminine or words like sissy was seen as a derogatory term, but I could not understand, why when a word was describing female could become a bad term of describing something or someone, it is not wrong to be feminine, when seeing words, powerful people always link it to men instead of women, there is a common situation still in eastern countries..
